The large, futuristic seating unit designed by a well-known London sculptor needed to be made in six segments to allow it to be manoeuvred through doorways and then assembled on site. We produced the original pattern work, production moulds, and finished components in a silver metallic gloss gelcoat finish. Internal support webs and bolt-up flanging were incorporated. We have produced a number of these units and provide full assembly instructions.
The reproduction of column capitals to match those at a UK headquarters in London was commissioned by a major religious organisation. GRP replicas were specified as a quicker and more economical alternative to traditional materials. Working from photographs and drawings, we recreated originals in Rome using MDF pattern work, silicone moulds, and GRP production. Gilt finishes completed the work. We also designed a new emblem for the organisation’s Mayfair conference centre.

We produced a bespoke backing and mounting panel to allow the Leonardo da Vinci cartoon to be reinstalled after damage at the National Gallery. The restoration department required a completely rigid, long-term stable solution. We supplied a multi-layer structural panel using aluminium honeycomb with epoxy-faced boards, a method derived from aircraft construction. The solution met all requirements and has since been used for major museums and restoration projects nationwide.
